How to install:
1. Download vgmini01.zip and make sure you can unzip or install 7-Zip or jZip -- both are 100% free and very good.

2. Extract zip you downloaded to /Quake III Arena/baseq3 directory:


3. Connect to the HQ-1 server from console with /connect vogon.vg or /connect 66.199.227.130 -- or -- create a new shortcut and start the game with quake3 +connect vogon.vg. IP may change, so it's best to use vogon.vg domain name.

Optimization tip: put vgmini01.pk3 file inside /vogon-t1 or /vogon-tx dir, so maps are loaded only when playing on our servers and not every time you start Q3. Also, it's good to cleanup baseq3 dir -- you only need autoexec/config, q3key and pak1-8 files. Defrag your disk from time to time.

All maps individually are available from lvlworld.com and filefront.com. You only need vgmini01.pk3 file to play on our server, but you may check individual releases for notes, reviews and screenshots. Also check included read me file for a list of all maps and bots. Additional notes and all credits are inside readme_pack.zip!

You can try all maps and bots offline with Q3Offline (0.6M).
